BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo throwers Ryan Cribbin took gold and Devon Patterson took silver in the men's shot put on Friday at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at UB Stadium. It marked the ninth straight year the Bulls won gold in the men's shot put at the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Patterson led for most of the event with a throw of 59' 8.25". On his final attempt, Cribbin stepped up with a season-best toss of 60' 0.25" to leapfrog Patterson and win his second MAC title in the last three years.
