Bulls Drops Weekend Finale At Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, MI – Despite scoring first, the University at Buffalo softball team dropped its series finale at Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon, 4-1. The loss evens UB's conference record to 3-3.

The Bulls got on the board first in the top of the second inning as sophomore Leandra Jew reached on an error by the pitcher and ended up at third with nobody out following a steal. She came in to score on a single to right by senior Kenzie Koch.

However, Western Michigan responded with a two-run home run in the fourth and a two-run double in the fifth to take a 4-1 lead.
