BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's and women's cross country teams were awarded with All-Academic team honors as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday Morning. The teams were two of 427 Division 1 programs selected across the country.
Teams selected by the USTFCCCA must uphold at least a 3.0 GPA for the semester while excelling on the course as well. The men's team held a 3.18 GPA, with the women holding a 3.05 team GPA.
"Our student-athletes are focused and driven both in the classroom, and on the XC course," said program director and head coach Vicki Mitchell.
