BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo head men's basketball coach Jim Whitesell has announced the addition of Texas Tech transfer Josh Mballa.
Mballa will have three years of eligibility remaining after playing for the national runner ups this past season where he saw action in 17 games, recording a career high in points against the Kansas Jayhawks.
Mballa is a 6-8 forward from Bordeaux, France. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and returned to the United States three years ago. He prepped at Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut under Tom Espinosa where his team went 38-4, while winning the programs' first national title in 2018.
