BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's and women's cross country team traveled to Bronx, NY to compete in the NCAA Northeast Regionals. The men and women raced against three nationally ranked, and 15 regionally ranked teams each. The two teams performed exceptionally and were able to finish second best in program history each.
The men took home an eighth place finish with five runners placing in the Top-100. They raced against nationally ranked Syracuse (fifth, first regionally), Iona (seventh, second regionally), and Providence (30th, third regionally); and regionally ranked Columbia (fourth), Dartmouth (fifth), Yale (sixth), Cornell (seventh), Northeastern (eighth), Brown (10th), Army West Point (11th), Stony Brook (12th), Maine (13th), Albany (14th), and Boston University (15th).
