Thy came in as heavy favorites and the Buffalo Bulls were up to the task. Behind solid running by both Kevin Marks and Jaret Patterson UB ran all over Bowling Green and a depleted but capable defense bent at times, but ultimately made the big plays needed to stay undefeated.
In the early going Bowling Green kept it interesting.
Following UB’s opening touchdown drive the Falcons marched 50 yards before stalling out and scoring a field goal. After a Buffalo three and out on the next series the Falcons drove 55 yards to line up for a field goal that could have made the score 7-6, but missed wide right.
