Buffalo Bulls Men's Tennis falls to Cornell

Last year, a banged up Men's Tennis team fell to nationally-ranked Cornell 7-0. In 2016, Cornell was still nationally ranked, and though UB was healthier, they fell this afternoon to the Big Red 4-2 which one match still in progress.

The doubles point was surprisingly competitive, using the same pairings as against Bryant, but with Noah Hajdu-Andersson and Akhil Mehta moved up a spot. All three matchups featured a number of broken serves, but UB couldn't hold leads at both #1 (4-2) and #2 (5-3) doubles. Amar Hromic and Pablo Alvarez fought back to force a tiebreaker, but their set was abandoned as Hajdu-Andersson and Mehta dropped two straight breaks and four straight points to lose 7-5.
