Tonight, the Buffalo Bulls men's basketball team took a trip down to Virginia to take on the VCU Rams. UB played the rams tough early in the first half despite running up the turnover column early in the game. VCU wasn't shooting the ball particularly well and Buffalo was shooting over 50% at the time. A late first half meltdown is what prevented the Bulls from recovering as it carried on throughout the entire second half.
The Bulls were led by Rodell Wigginton with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The effort didn't prove to be enough as Lamonte Bearden also had a decent night with help from the free throw line.
