Coming into the their final game of non-conference play, the Buffalo Bulls sat 1-2 after a strong fourth quarter comeback versus Army capped by a game winning field goal in overtime. Despite the promise this team showed last week, the Bulls could not salvage any real positives in today’s matchup versus Boston College.
Early in the first quarter there were shimmers of light for the Bulls. Defense shined for both teams and it seemed like today would be a punt fest as three-and-outs were common. Being so close to going into the second quarter scoreless, Boston College completed a 44 yard bomb as UB’s Cameron Lewis struggled to make the tackle.
