With nothing to lose, the 2-9 Buffalo Bulls would take on the 3-8 Bowling Green Falcons for an opportunity to get a late season win. Despite flashes of good offense and defense, Buffalo wouldn’t be able to get the job done due to many of the same problems that have plagued their season. Finishing the year with a 2-10 record, the Bulls lost this one 27-19.
Like most of this season, Buffalo was burned early on defense. Bowling Green drove the ball down the field for 60 yards on a quick eight play drive, putting the Falcons up 7-0.
