Mike Abrunzo is the third UB JUCO who is graduating this season. The power hitter spent two years in the outfield of Lackawanna College where he led his team to the 2013 JUCO World Series after winning the Region 19 Championship.
Before College, he played four years in Horseheads New York at Horseheads high school. He was the team captain as a senior and led his team to a 19-3 record and led his team to back-to-back Section VI Championships
After Lackawanna College, he came to Buffalo in 2016 to study international trade. Last season he Played in 43 games, starting 39.
