Buffalo Bulls Baseball drops opener to Northeastern

Buffalo headed to North Eastern with a chance to get back above .500 but despite a near perfect showing by Alec Tuohy the best they can hope for is getting back within a game should they win the next two.

Tuohy, a junior, went seven innings allowing just two hits and striking out a seven batters. Logan Harasta also put together two hitless innings before closer Mike Kaelin came in and pitched the final 2.2 innings.

But the Bulls' batters were unable to sting together enough offense to take advantage of Tuohy's day.

UB managed only five hits and never did they manage two string two hits together in an inning.
