The Bulls first contest since the branding change saw an offensive surge which helped UB down Big 4 rival Canisius 5-4. On the mount Brandon Mumaw collected the win as UB moved to 11-17 on the season.
Canisius is already 2-0 against UB and the Griffs struck first in the second inning, bringing in a run to take a 1-0 lead.
In the visitors half of the third UB was able to pile on four critical run.
Bobby Sheppard started the inning singled to right field, moved to second on a balk and then Mike Abrunzo drew a walk.
