The Mid-American Conference announced today their All-MAC accolades for men’s basketball. Buffalo saw three of its players be recognized by the conference: Blake Hamilton for All-MAC Second Team, CJ Massinburg for All-MAC Honorable Mention, and Dontay Caruthers for All-MAC Defensive Team.
En route to an All-MAC Second Team accolade, Blake Hamilton finished the regular season with 17.5 points (good for 6th in the conference), 6.2 boards (14th), and 4.5 assists per game (5th). Restrict his numbers to MAC play, and his assists per game goes up to 5.1 APG (2nd in the conference).
With the above being said, Hamilton is a snub from the All-MAC first team.
