After getting drubbed in Nebraska the Bulls found themselves two touchdown underdogs against the nationally ranked Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Instead of rolling over Buffalo pushed the #16 team in the nation right to the edge, but ended up on the wrong side of a 28-25 nail biter.
Coming out of the gate Buffalo looked intimidate and coastal was firing on all cylinders. The Bulls took a three and out while the Chanticleers raced 55 yards down the field in 2:51 seconds to take a seven to nothing lead.
After that The Bulls came to life, scoring on their next two possessions to take a 14-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
