The Buffalo Bills’ receiving corps for the 2018 season left plenty to be desired. Three of the team’s top four receivers from the beginning of the year, Kelvin Benjamin, Jeremy Kerley, and Andre Holmes, were released before the season was finished. The team’s leading receiver in all three major categories, Zay Jones, placed 58th in receptions, 61st in receiving yards, and tied for 17th in touchdowns when looking at the entire NFL.
In short, it wasn’t a banner year for the Bills’ receivers, and the front office and coaching staff knew it.
