While Josh Allen will more than likely get the official start for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the main priority for Buffalo is to get him off the field quickly and get Mitch Trubisky under center for the remainder of the game. While Buffalo can potentially get higher than the 7-seed with a win, they are a Wild Card team going into the playoffs no matter what.
This is Trubisky’s third season backing up Josh Allen, first coming to Buffalo in 2021, and the coming back to the Bills in 2024. While he has finished out some games for Allen due to the Bills being up by a lot, he has only played in one true game for Buffalo which was Week 18 last season against the Patriots.
