Surprise, surprise. Here’s the NFL sticking their nose where they don’t need to.
News just broke on Twitter that the PAT’s (point-after-attempts) will be moved back to the 15 yard line forcing kickers to make a 33-yard field goal to put a single point on the board.
The news was first reported by Dean Blandino, Vice President of Officiating in the NFL:
The extra point rule for 2015 just changed. Snap for kick from the 15-yard line, 2-pt try stays at 2-yard line and defense can return.

The move is clearly an attempt to make the game more exciting which you can’t blame the NFL for.
