Sean McDermott finished fourth in NFL Coach of the Year voting

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott was a finalist for the NFL’s Coach of the Year Award. He was in attendance at the NFL Honors show on Saturday but as not named as the top coach in the NFL, as voted by the Associated Press.

John Harbaugh of the Baltimore Ravens was named coach of the year after taking his team to the best record in the NFL and accumulating 27 of the 50 votes. Coming in a distant second was San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, who turned around the 49ers from picking in the top 5 to the number one seed in the NFC and received 14 votes.
