Reports: Matt Breida will make league minimum for Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills don’t have a lot of salary cap space to play with in 2021 after re-signing multiple key free agents following the shrinking of the salary cap due to COVID-19. With that in mind, they’ve been on the hunt for bargains and their most recent acquisition fits that description.

Former Miami Dolphins running back Matt Breida will make the league minimum in 2021, according to Draft Diamonds and confirmed by Ryan Talbot of NYUp.com. That’s $990,000 in base salary for a player with four years of NFL experience. We don’t know yet if he received the allowable signing bonus, but I’d think it’s likely at this point.
