Report: Buffalo Bills have offered contract to Terrelle Pryor

The Buffalo Bills, in desperate need of some playmakers for the league’s worst offense, are meeting with free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor. The receiver was spotted in the Buffalo Airport on Monday, and ESPN’s Josina Anderson reports that the Bills have offered him a contract, so a signing could be coming.

Pryor was cut recently from the New York Jets, after suffering a slight groin tear that was expected to sideline him for two weeks. (Tonight’s game would be the second of those two weeks from the original prognosis.) Though he wasn’t a star for the Jets, Pryor’s stats (two touchdowns and 235 receiving yards) are better than any player on Buffalo’s sorry passing offense today.
