Taiwan Jones out for the year
It was an ugly injury. Late in the game on Buffalo’s first onsides kick attempt, Taiwan Jones in an effort to get to the football was in a nasty collision and broke his arm. His season is over as a result.
“Taiwan is going to be out for the year,” said head coach Sean McDermott. “He broke his left arm in the game and as you saw was in a lot of pain. He’s going to be out for the season at this point.”
Now with just LeSean McCoy and Mike Tolbert as the only primary ball carriers on the roster, McDermott said he and GM Brandon Beane have already been in conversations as to the type of back they want to acquire to fit the demands of the running back position and special teams ability.
