Buffalo knew they needed a near perfect performance against the Patriots in New England to get a valuable AFC conference and division win, but the Bills couldn’t execute consistently in the passing game and had two miscues on special teams. It was enough to help give New England a 20-13 victory over Buffalo.
The Bills defense played stout for most of the game holding the Patriots to less than 60 yards rushing through the first three quarters and 85 for the game.
