Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse was set to make $7.025 million in base salary in 2021 and count more than $10 million against the team’s salary cap. This week, he took a pay cut and restructured his contract to stay with the team and thanks to Spotrac we have more details.
Morse reduced his base salary from $7.025 million to $4.125 million and his per-game bonuses from $500,000 to $400,000. It’s also likely the Bills guaranteed his 2021 salary in the process, meaning he won’t be released this season.
The combination of moves freed up $3 million in cap space for the team to re-sign Matt Milano and Daryl Williams.
