Miami Dolphins sign free agent TE Dwayne Allen

Though the Buffalo Bills hosted Dwayne Allen on Wednesday, the seven year veteran decided to sign a contract on Saturday with the Miami Dolphins. The two-year deal is for $7 million, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

The Bills were looking to sign the tight end because of the uncertainty at the position after moving on from Charles Clay, whom the Bills signed as a free agent from Miami a couple of seasons ago. During his first five seasons with the Colts, Allen put up 19 total touchdowns but when he went to New England he only had one touchdown to go with 13 receptions.
