This past offseason, the Buffalo Bills had the chance to sign a player that they were rumored to have tried trading for from the Green Bay Packers; cornerback Jaire Alexander. NFL Insider Jordan Schultz had reported that the Bills and Packers “held trade talks this offseason centered around CB Jaire Alexander” but the two teams couldn’t come to an agreement. Therefore, the Packers ultimately released Alexander.
Since the Bills had decided to sign Tre’Davious White and Dane Jackson in free agency, then draft three cornerback rookies, it was unlikely that the Bills were going to make a run for Alexander as a free agent.
