Jordan Poyer honored as Buffalo’s Ed Block Courage Award winner

Safety Jordan Poyer has proven himself to be an invaluable member of the Buffalo Bills secondary in 2017, appearing in and starting 12 games while making 81 tackles (57 solo). Poyer, whose free agent signing this past offseason didn’t generate much national buzz, has certainly made a name for himself at One Bills Drive. In his first season with the Bills, his teammates honored Poyer as the team’s Ed Block Courage Award winner for 2017.

Poyer has rebounded nicely from a lacerated kidney that forced him to miss 10 games of the 2016 season while he was a member of the Cleveland Browns.
