Jacob Hollister won’t be back with Buffalo Bills, as team decided to keep defensive linemen

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane says he does not expect the team to re-sign tight end Jacob Hollister at this point. Beane says he expect Hollister to sign elsewhere shortly.

The Buffalo Bills only have two true tight ends on their roster in Dawson Knox and the injured Tommy Sweeney. Fullback Reggie Gilliam has cross-trained at the position and we assume there will be practice squad players at the position, as well.

“Just a numbers game,” Beane said on cutting Hollister. “We went heavy on the DL. We wish him the best. Never close the door on bringing him back but my guess is he will sign with another team.
