And he gets the title, from the Buffalo Bills’ coaches, that goes to running backs who get the money and the accolades.
“I know they say they want him to be the ‘bell cow,’ ” Fred Jackson said Wednesday. “They want him to take the majority of the load. But I’m not going to make it easy for him. I’m not going to just hand it to him and say, ‘Here’s the job.’ ”
The “job” has belonged to Jackson for a good portion of eight seasons with the Bills.
