Former Buffalo Bills standout during the first day of the XFL

For Buffalo Bills fans wanting more football after last weekend’s Super Bowl was able to get that chance thanks to the return of the XFL. This new version consists of eight teams and those teams are filled with numerous former NFL players, including players who at one time were on the Bills roster.

In the league’s first game, the D.C. Defenders beat the Seattle Dragons by a score of 31-19. The Defenders are led by Cardale Jones, who was a fourth round pick by the Bills back in 2016. He had a strong performance going 16 of 26 for 291 yards and two touchdown passes.
