Former Buffalo Bills coach Anthony Lynn out as Los Angeles Chargers head coach

The Los Angeles Chargers have fired head coach Anthony Lynn. Before he was in L.A., he served one game as the Buffalo Bills’ interim head coach and was Rex Ryan’s right-hand man for two seasons.

Lynn went 33-31 as the head coach for the last four seasons in Los Angeles, with his best year coming in 2018. That season, the Chargers went 12-4 and won a playoff game before losing to the eventual Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in the divisional round. They couldn’t build on that success and despite a four-game winning streak to end the season and the development of rookie QB Justin Herbert, the tea moved on.
