Field Yates of ESPN is reporting that former Bills RB Karlos Williams has been suspended for a period of at least one year.

Williams previously served a four-game suspension for violating the league’s Substances of Abuse Policy.

Williams, 24, was taken in the fifth round of last year’s NFL Draft by the Bills. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,495,352 rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

The Bills made the decision cut last year Williams in part because his conditioning was an issue.
