The Buffalo Bills were interested in bringing back former top draft pick Sammy Watkins this offseason, he told Tyler Dunne of Bleacher Report. The Bills eventually traded for Stefon Diggs and Watkins re-signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Buffalo famously traded up for Watkins in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was often injured, didn’t rehab properly, didn’t take the game seriously, and wasn’t effective in Buffalo. By his own admission, he did not do what he was supposed to and was glad he was shipped out.
