The image of wide receiver Stefon Diggs standing on the field at Arrowhead Stadium following the Buffalo Bills’ 38-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last January in the AFC Championship game left a lasting impression on the Bills and their fans of how close the team got to their first Super Bowl appearance since the 1993 season.
But it also was a reminder of how much work needed to be done to close the gap between themselves and the Chiefs.
