Buffalo Bills: Vontae Davis’ bizzare retirement at halftime of home opener

It what was already a bizarre showdown in the Buffalo Bills home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. Then a curveball was thrown the Bills’ way in the form of a shocking decision by a player.

At halftime, cornerback Vontae Davis decided to pull himself out of the game and alerted his coaches of his decision. Coming back from halftime, most people thought that he maybe sustained an injury. But that wasn’t the case.

He pulled himself out of the game and abruptly retired, right there on the spot. The locker room was in shock of Davis’ sudden decision, which also led to confusion.
