Buffalo Bills sign S Robert Blanton, DT Deandre Coleman

Yesterday, the Buffalo Bills announced the release of safety Trae Elston and linebacker Jelani Jenkins. Today the team announced two corresponding moves, signing defensive tackle Deandre Coleman and safety Robert Blanton.

Coleman, who was waived from the active roster on September 5th, originally joined the Bills in 2016. With Marcell Dareus suffering from a sprained ankle and Jerel Worthy still in the concussion protocol, the 6’5” 341 pounder will be Buffalo’s insurance plan. The team also has Cedric Thornton and Adolphus Washington on the roster.
