The Buffalo Bills announced the signing of free agent linebacker Jelani Jenkins on Tuesday. Jenkins, 25, signed with the Oakland Raiders in the offseason but was placed on injured reserved by the Raiders ahead of the start of the season. Shortly thereafter, he reached an injury settlement with the club, enabling him to become a free agent.
Jenkins, drafted in the fourth round of the 2013 draft by the Miami Dolphins, essentially served as a full-time starter for the team the past three season, starting 34 of the 37 games that he played in during that span.
