Buffalo Bills sign first round pick Gregory Rousseau to rookie contract

The Buffalo Bills have signed defensive end Gregory Rousseau to his rookie contract, his agency announced on Thursday. Rousseau, Buffalo’s first round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, signed a standard four-year contract with $11.37 million guaranteed. By the end of his third season, the Bills can opt to extend Rousseau’s rookie contract for a fifth season.

With Rousseau’s signing, almost every member of the Bills rookie class is under contract. The only missing link is offensive tackle Spencer Brown, the team’s third round selection.

Breaking into the league, Rousseau will deal with a ton of defensive end competition on the Bills roster.
