Buffalo Bills sign defensive end Ryan Davis

According to Buffalo Bills writer Chris Brown, the team has signed free agent defensive end Ryan Davis.

Davis, 28, spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars. An undrafted free agent out of Bethune-Cookman in 2012, Davis recorded 11 sacks in his four seasons with the Jags, including a career high of 6.5 in 2014. Last season, Davis failed to record a sack in nine games, but did recover a fumble.

While Davis is a defensive end, he did spend some time in Jacksonville with then-Jaguars linebacker coach Bob Babich, who currently holds the same role with the Bills.
