Buffalo Bills release veteran offensive lineman Germain Ifedi

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have released veteran offensive lineman Germain Ifedi. The move brings their active roster total down to 52, which frees up a spot for defensive tackle DaQuan Jones should he be able to play this weekend.

Ifedi, 29, signed with the Bills at the end of August. He spent the preseason as a member of the Detroit Lions, who released him on August 27. Buffalo signed him three days after his release from Detroit. The veteran did not appear in a game for the Bills this season, as he was a healthy scratch for each contest.
