Buffalo Bills’ path to playoffs is paved by AFC injuries and slow starts

It’s not too early to start taking a look around the AFC playoff picture. With problems percolating around the conference, the Buffalo Bills may be in a unique position to capitalize if they don’t incur some of these similar problems down the stretch.

In the AFC East alone, the New England Patriots’ left tackle, Isaiah Wynn, is dealing with a toe injury that could keep him out or limited for a chunk of the season. The New York Jets have a QB problem with Sam Darnold contracting mononucleosis and missing at least one game, if not a month.
