Today’s edition of The Morning Charge comes a bit closer to the afternoon as I am in the Outer Banks and finding time to write early in the morning has become difficult.

One thing to look forward to right now is the preseason, which begins August 9 against the Carolina Panthers. But the top storyline of the preseason is the Week 2 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
