Buffalo Bills make history after winning two straight opening road games

The Buffalo Bills knew they would have to improve upon last year’s 2-6 record in road games if the team was to return to the playoffs for the second time in three seasons.

So when the 2019 NFL schedule was released and the Bills were opening the season on the road in MetLife Stadium for consecutive clashes in New Jersey vs. the New York Jets and New York Giants, it gave the Bills a chance to show their road woes of last year were a thing of the past.

After knocking off the Jets (17-16) and Giants (28-14), the Bills not only started the season 2-0 for the 16th time in franchise history, they earned road wins in Weeks 1 and 2 of the season for the first time in team history.
