The Buffalo Bills had a quarterback room of Nathan Peterman, Josh Allen and AJ McCarron in the summer of 2018. That room did not have much experience, which was not exactly the best thing for the No. 7 overall pick.
Things will be different in 2019.
The Bills gave Matt Barkley a contract extension recently, and decided to do the same with Derek Anderson.
Anderson was originally brought to Buffalo to serve as a mentor to Allen and will get to do that in 2019.
