The night before the 2020 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills made sure their star cornerback would be with the franchise at least through the 2021 season. According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Bills exercised the fifth-year option on Tre’Davious White‘s contract.
The Bills selected Tre’Davious White in the 2017 NFL Draft with the 27th overall pick, which was acquired when they traded back from 10th in a trade with Kansas City Chiefs. This was the first year under Sean McDermott and the team needed to fill the need left with the departure of Stephon Gilmore in free agency that offseason.
