Buffalo Bills elevate practice squad tight end Kahale Warring

The Buffalo Bills have elevated practice squad tight end Kahale (pronounced kah-HALL-ay) Warring to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

With starter Dawson Knox sidelined thanks to a broken hand, Buffalo only had one tight end on its active roster, third-year man Tommy Sweeney. If Warring is active on game day, they will have two tight ends available, which is the number they’ve kept active each week thus far.

It’s possible that the Bills go with just one tight end, as Sweeney could theoretically be spelled by fullback Reggie Gilliam, who played tight end last year.
