Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Adolphus Washington is making the most out of his playing time after the trade of former first-round draft pick Marcell Dareus.
Washington, a third-round draft pick out of Ohio State, played 15 snaps in the season-opening win over the New York Jets, making a pair of tackles. Since Week 1, Washington’s playing time has been trending upwards, culminating with earning the starts for Weeks 5, 8, and 9.
Leslie Frazier, Buffalo’s first-year defensive coordinator, has been impressed with the poise and maturity Washington has displayed this year.
