The Buffalo Bills added wide receiver Steven Sims to the roster on Wednesday, fueling speculation about the injury to Isaiah McKenzie after he suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the week.
Steven Sims spent the last two years with the Washington Football Team. Sims had a similar role to McKenzie in Washington, logging limited action as a receiver and seeing some time as a receiver. Sims’s 93 targets and 61 catches over the last two season are unlikely to turn heads.
However, Sims has more return experience than McKenzie. In 2019, he logged 32 kickoff return attempts which included one touchdown covering 91 yards.
