The defensive end position for the Buffalo Bills is one that could go through drastic changes this offseason. The group of Jerry Hughes, Shaq Lawson and Trent Murphy didn’t have a stellar 2019 season, combining for only 16 sacks this past year.
This down year plus the combination of Lawson entering the offseason as a free agent and significant salaries dedicated to Hughes and Murphy creates a potential for a much different group entering the 2020 season.
The Bills will have three ways to address this position in the coming months, either sign a free agent, select a defensive end in April’s NFL Draft, or the third option being to acquire one through a trade.
