The strength of the Buffalo Bills clearly lies with this defense under head coach Sean McDermott. Prior to joining the Bills, McDermott regularly had a defense finish in the Top 10 while he was defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers.
That success has continued in Western New York and the Bills finished third in total yards allowed and second in points allowed this past season. The only teams ahead of them in total yards allowed was the New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers.
The good news is that this level of production should continue as the team didn’t lost any key starters, with Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips being the biggest names.
